Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, January 18-24

The seventh and final Blu-ray Disc volume of the K-ON! television anime series sold 31,000 copies in its first week to debut at #1 on SoundScan Japan and Oricon's Blu-ray Disc charts for the week of January 18-24. It is the second K-ON! volume to sell over 30,000 Blu-ray Discs. (The first volume sold 33,000 copies in July.) The seventh Blu-ray/DVD volume of the anime contains an extra episode that was not broadcasted during the anime's original television run.
Gokusen the Movie, Tōya Satō's live-action theatrical film based on Kozueko Morimoto's Gokusen school comedy manga, debuted at #3. The collector's pack for the live-action special-effects film Kamen Rider Decade: All Rider Tai Dai-Shocker was #5, and the regular edition of the film was #20.
