Shangri-La Opening Footage Appears Online

Features "Kimi Shinitamō Koto Nakare" theme song by May'n (May Nakabayashi)

The opening animation footage for Gonzo's upcoming Shangri-La television series has appeared on the anime's website, although it has not been officially linked. The website already linked to a 16-second promotional commercial on Tuesday. Both videos include the "Kimi Shinitamō Koto Nakare" opening theme song by May'n (May Nakabayashi).

This adaptation of Eiichi Ikegami's science fiction novel features director Makoto Bessho (Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, Armitage: Dual-Matrix), series script supervisor Hiroshi Ohnogi (Arjuna, Noein - to your other self), and character designer Range Murata (Blue Submarine No. 6, Last Exile). It will premiere on Japanese television on April 5 and on the Crunchyroll website within an hour later.
