Madhouse's Piano no Mori to Open July 21 in Japan

The animeanime.jp website reports that Piano no Mori now has a confirmed opening date of July 21 in Japanese theaters. Madhouse's latest movie adapts Makoto Isshiki's 3.5-million-copy-selling manga (Piano no Mori: The Perfect World of Kai) that ran in Young Magazine Uppers and later Weekly Morning. The story revolves around two boy prodigies and a solitary piano hidden in a forest. Monster and Hanada Shōnen-shi director Masayuki Kojima collaborates with musical advisor and famed Russian pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy on the project.
