Trainman Tops Japanese Box Office

It its first opening weekend, Train Man, the movie based on a story originating on the 2 Channel message board, secured top spot at the Japanese box office, ahead of Odoru Legend: Negotiator, which was the top film last week. Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation, which broke box office records at several individual theaters when it opened last week (but didn't take the national #1 spot), fell to fifth position overall.
