Howl's Moving Castle Continues to Slide, Prince of Tennis Premieres
This past weekend saw a new premiere, that of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera enter the Japanese box office charts in second position, pushing Howl's Moving Castle down to third place. Also premiering this past weekend, was Production I.G's Prince of Tennis: The First Game, premiering in 5th position.
According to Box Office Mojo Howl's Moving Castle has earned approximately 17 billion yen (US$164 million) in Japan to date.
