6-Year-Old Visitor Greeted by Bandai Characters
Bandai has put out a press release (in Japanese) announcing that the Bandai Museum, which opened in July 2003, received its 1 millionth visitor on November 20th.
The visitor, a 6-year-old boy who was visiting with his family, received an item of merchandise from the museum store (item of his choice) and a special VIP pass allowing him access to the entire museum building for 1 day. He was greeted by a number of different Bandai characters (see image in press release).
Earlier this year Bandai had predicted that the 1-millionth visitor would arrive by February 2005.
The Museum is located outside Matsudo station in Tokyo, Japan.
