Official: Cowboy Bebop Staff at BAAF

In addition to the pressence of of Shinichiro Watanabe and Toshihiro Kawamoto, which we already reported on, Yoko Kanno will also be present at BAAF.
The Big Apple Anime Festival sent out a press release today confirming earlier reports that Cowboy Bebop director, Shinichiro Watanabe and character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto would be present at BAAF for the premiere of the English Dub of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. The press release also informs us that Kawamoto and Watanabe will be joined by famed music composer Yoko Kano.

The Big Apple Anime Fest 2002 (BAAF 2002) is proud to announce that the festival will premiere the theatrical English dub version of "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie" on August 30th, 8:00pm at Loews State Theater (Virgin Megastore) in New York City's Times Square. At the premiere, Cowboy Bebop director, Shinichiro Watanabe, score composer, Yoko Kanno and character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto will be on hand to meet their legions of fans. Cowboy Bebop is also currently an enormously popular animated TV show, currently seen in the U.S. on Cartoon Network. The show, which fuses compelling sci-fi elements with an amazing soundtrack, has been called one of the greatest Japanese anime imports ever.
