Anime Expo Updates

North America's largest Anime Convention, Anime Expo, which takes place just over a month from now, has added yet another guest of honor to their guest list.
Hiroaki Gōda joins Toshiharu Murata, Tsukasa Hōjō, Nobuhiro Watsuki, Kōichi Mashimo, Hideyuki Kurata, Masashi Ishihama and Koji Masunari as a guest of honor at Anime Expo 2002.
Goda acted as the director for the entire Ah! My Goddess line of Anime (OAV, Movie, and TV works), character designer for Onegai Teacher and as an animator on series such as Bubblegum Crisis, Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water, and Ranma 1/2.
Also announced is that Anime Expo will be screening a 35mm print of Metropolis. AX is also screening 35mm prints of enchi Muyo in Love, Armitage Poly-Matrix, Akira, Gundam: Char's Counterattack, Legend of the Galactic Heroes: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars, Escaflowne and Jin-Roh.
