Popular Manga to be released as a two part OVA
Asada Hiroyuki's I'll [Generation Basket], which is currently being serialized in Shueisha's Monthly Shonen Jump, will be animated as an OVA and is two be released in two parts on DVD, with the first part coming out in December 2002 and the second part in February 2003. A CD soundtrack is also due to be released in January 2003.
The OVAs will be directed by Kawasaki Itsuro, scripted by Takahashi Miyuki and have character designs by Sekiguchi Kanami.
In teh Manga, Akane Tachibana and Hitonari Higari are two boys with a passion for basket ball. But as they chose to quit the game. New challenges in High School Basketball however re-animate their passion for the game.
