Taco Bell Confirms Clow Card Story

Distribution of Clow Cards stopped as a result of customer complaints
Taco Bell representative Laurie Gannon has confirmed to us that the company had stopped distribution of Cardcaptors Clow Cards as a result of customer's complaints.
Taco Bell, which serves 40 million customers every week, had received aproximately 100 complaints from customers who had mistaken the Clow Cards for Tarrot Cards which are used in "occult practices." "If you look at the show you see what they really are," remarked Gannon, "but we understand how they could have been misrepresented."
Taco Bell ceased distribution at its warehouse of two of the four products involved in the promostion, "Li summons the glow" statue and the "Video viewer" however continued to be distributed. Several hundred cases of Clow Cards were held back at the Taco Bell warehouse.
Taco Bell has no problem using Anime in future Kid's meal promotions, however they will be more careful about items that could be similarly misconstrued (both Anime related and not).
