Hayao Miyazaki to supervise new film from Studio Ghibli

According to a Japanese interview with Hayao Miyazaki, the next Studio Ghibli feature film will be supervised by Miyazaki but directed by Hosoda Mamoru, best known as director for the Digimon TV series and movies. The un-named film is scheduled for release in the summer of 2002 with a running time of about 100 minutes.
Ghibli is also working on a mid-length film (70 minutes) directed by a young freelance animator.
