FUNimation has announced a tentative January 2002 release date for the 5th Dragon Ball Z movie.
It is safe to assume that FUNimation will release this movie in the same manner as previous DBZ films, one edited TV version, and one uncut version. The 4th movie, Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug, will be released on VHS in both formats (edited & uncut) on August 7th.
Meanwhile, Faulconer Productions has announced that they will be releasing 2 DBZ soundtracks with the music they created for the North American Dragon Ball Z dubs. Both soundtracks, the Trunks Compendium and the Best of DBZ, will be released on CD July 15th for $14,98 and $16.98 respectively.
In other DBZ related merchandise news, Palisades has pushed back the release of their seven inch Goku Mini Bust. The limited edition (5000 examples) bust will be released on August 15th for a retail price of $49.99
