Toei Animation Listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange

First time for an Anime studio.
Toei Animation, anime studio best known for Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z, was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange last month. It is the first time that a Japanese anime studio is publicly traded.
As a result of the public listing, Toei's revenue figures are now public information for the first time. According to the January 30th issue of Nikkei Kinyu Shimbun Toei Animation's group sales will be 12.83 billion yen in the fiscal half ending in March jumping 28% year over last year and its group net earnings will increase 290% from last year to 1.48 billion yen.
