The final boxffice figures are in from Pokémon: The First Movie's opening day, showing the film has grossed $10.1 million dollars. Analyists speculate, Pokémon should have one of the largest five-day debuts ever at the American box office. Wednesdays opening broke Wednesday records for Warner Brothers and became the biggest Wednesday-opening animated film ever, as well as the biggest Wednesday opening for any November release. Predictions indicate that the film could easily break $50 for the first five days of release.
