Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine Anime's New Promo Video Posted

King Records began streaming a new promotional video on Friday for Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine, the second season of the Knights of Sidonia television anime series.
The second season based on Tsutomu Nihei's science-fiction manga series will premiere on April 10 on the Animeism programming block. Hiroyuki Seshita, the assistant director of the first season, is replacing Kobun Shizuno as the director of the second season at POLYGON PICTURES, and Sadayuki Murai is returning to be in charge of the series scripts.
angela is returning to perform the opening theme "Kishi Kōshikyoku" (Knight March) and CustomiZ will perform the ending theme "Requiem."
The first TV anime season premiered in Japan last April and Netflix premiered the English version streaming in July. Sentai Filmworks revealed in February that it will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
A compilation film of all 12 episodes of the first season opened in Japanese theaters on March 6. The film also contained new sequences and redone sound effects.
