Detective Conan: Hyakuman Doru no Michishirube (Case Closed: The Million-dollar Pentagram) will be released in UK and Ireland cinemas on September 27. Two promotional tie-ins are marking the event in London.

One of them is a a lucky draw wheel which will be set up outdoors in London's Chinatown area in the West End (between Leicester Square and Shaftesbury Avenue), on this coming Saturday, September 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. There will be riddles on display that participants will need to solve, with a correct answer allowing them to spin the wheel. The prizes are listed here, including Detective Conan T-shirts, figure Mystery Boxes and A3 posters, as well as discount coupons for selected Chinatown London stores.

There is also a current promotion involving the Sherlock Holmes Museum on London's Baker Street. This is a mystery word hunt - visitors who find all four words will receive an exclusive "Detective Conan x Sherlock Holmes" postcard, subject to availability. ANN was informed that while the intitial batch of postcards sold out, more of them have been sent to the museum.

As many Detective Conan fans know, the character's name is an homage to the British author Arthur Conan Doyle, who created Sherlock Holmes. A video promoting the Museum's mystery hunt has been posted on the X/Twitter feed of CineAsiaUK

The film Case Closed: The Million-dollar Pentagram is the 27th film in the Detective Conan franchise. It opened in Japan on April 12. AIKO performs the film's theme song "Sōshi Sōai" (Mutual Love). Trinity CineAsia is releasing the film in the UK and Ireland.
