The Japanese branch of the British cosmetics company The Body Shop recently unveiled the "Uruoi-hime to 3-nin no Mahōtsukai" (Moisturize Princess and the Three Magicians) campaign to promote its Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. The campaign will officially launch its first wave on October 22, and three prominent voice actors are lending their talents to portray key ingredients in the cleanser.
Takuya Eguchi is voicing the character Kaoru Camomile, who represents camomile extract. Kaoru looks like a British gentleman, and although he may come across as aloof, he is actually kind.
Natsuki Hanae is playing Jun Olive, who represents olive oil. Jun has the air of a slender Italian, and he has the broad-mindedness and appeal of an adult with his sociable personality.
Shōta Aoi is voicing Hisoka Shea, who represents shea butter. Hisoka is short with chestnut hair, and he tends to attract people with mothering personalities.
Yao is providing the character designs and illustrations for the project.
People who purchase Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter after the campaign launches will receive one of 24 coasters with illustrations of the magicians. Each coaster will have a password to use online to hear character messages. Each character will have eight recordings in various versions such as "Good Morning Version," "Good Night Version," "Heart-Fluttering Version," and "Confession Version." The Body Shop's Love Your Body members who make designated purchases from October 22 to December 31 will be eligible to win one of five fancy paper boards signed by the campaign's voice actors.
The second wave of the campaign will launch on November 1.
