posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The fourth compiled book volume of Kamome Shirahama's Witch Hat Atelier manga shipped on Friday in regular and limited-edition versions. The limited edition bundled coloring pages as well as special colored pencils.
Shirahama selected the 12 colors for the colored pencils and provided the original illustrations for the eight coloring pages. The special-order pencils feature embossed details and come in a deluxe case.
In addition, the new manga volume and this year's 11th issue of Kodansha's Morning two magazine revealed details of a coloring contest on Friday. Five winners will receive a high-quality framed reproduction illustration signed by Shirahama.
A Witch Hat Atelier art exhibition will run at Aoyama GoGa in Tokyo from November 10 to December 2. Staff will reveal details of the exhibit, including information about content and exclusive merchandise, in the future.
The manga launched in Morning two in July 2016. The series was nominated for this year's 11th Manga Taisho awards. Kodansha Comics will debut the manga in English in March 2019.
