UFO catcher games in Japan are intense, challenging, and high-tech. Some sites will let you win prizes from all the way across the Pacific as players try to catch item using only cameras and their keyboard. UFO catchers can also be borderline impossible to win, like in the linked case where the claw simply broke off while trying to grab a plushie.

YouTuber Hirokun is dedicated to capturing crane games in action. One of his newest videos Twitter has caught the attention of millions. The videos shows a technical error, but for once it benefits the player and let's them bring home a massive crane game prize haul.

Hirokun attempts to knock in a prize box he has near the drop area but accidentally grabs a small portion of the shelf itself. The crane lifts and drops it, knocking about eight prizes into the drop area. The video has been viewed over 5 million times. Another crane game YouTuber, Mokkai-chan, had a similar experience but not quite as fortunate results.
