Fashion App User Combines Cardboard Gundam Head With Wild Poses
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The WEAR app lets user find outfits to coordinate various items of clothing. Users can track trends, purchase items seen in other users' photos, and follow and interact with other users, including celebrities. One user has taken a novel approach by posing with a certain accessory in all her photos.
The user who calls herself Kidō Senshi Dundamchan remains anonymous by covering her head with a Gundam-inspired head made from cardboard. The user's name is very similar to Mobile Suit Gundam's Japanese name, Kidō Senshi Gundam. However, the first kanji character Dundanchan uses is changed to be the character for "clothes," and the first part of the word "Gundam" is swapped with the first part of the Japanese word for "cardboard."
Dundamchan has been posting on the app since February 2017, and she shared her most recent creation on September 1. She uses outlandish poses to make even more of a statement. Dundamchan's appeal seems to be working because she has more than 10,000 followers on WEAR.
If you want to keep track Dundamchan's latest fashion-forward ensembles, you can follow her on WEAR here.
