Sneaker Bunko 30th Anniversary Event Includes Haruhi Suzumiya Stage

Niconico Live is kicking off its 88-Hour 'Endless Eight' streaming event in a matter of hours, subject Haruhi Suzumiya fans to a loop of infinite, summer mundanity. Fans wondered what prompted the marathon while tepidly hopeful for some kind of new development in the franchise.
The last entry The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series was the The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan television anime in 2015 which is in turn based on a spin-off manga of another spin-off. The original light novel series by Nagaru Tanigawa, meanwhile, hasn't seen a new entry since the release of The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya (Second Half) in 2011.
Fans could finally get some new developments in the fan-favorite series at this year's Sneaker Bunko 30th anniversary event. The publisher revealed its main stage programming and it includes a Haruhi Suzumiya stage event. Haruhi voice actress Aya Hirano, Yuki Nagato voice actress Minori Chihara, and Mikuru Asahina voice actress Yuko Goto are all scheduled to be there to celebrate the series' 15th anniversary.
The Sneaker Bunko event will also have stage events for the KONOSUBA - God's blessing on this wonderful world! anime film and radio show and Record of Lodoss War anime, manga, and novel franchise. Similarily, the briefly revived anniversary edition of The Sneaker magazine also focuses on Haruhi Suzumiya, KONOSUBA, and Record of Lodoss War. The issue will go on sale on November 1, a few days before The Sneaker Bunko event on November 4 at Tokyo Belle Salle Akihabara.
Will we finally get new information on Haruhi Suzumiya? It looks like it'll be a few more months before we find out.
