Cowboy Bebop's Spike Statue Includes Arms With Gun, 'Bang' Gesture

High-end figure maker First 4 Figures revealed its first Cowboy Bebop statue on Friday. The Spike Spiegel resin statue is available for pre-order in regular and exclusive versions now, and it is slated for release in the third quarter of 2019.
The trailer above debuted with the announcement, and First 4 Figures staffers Alex and Chockles also sat to discuss the project in a lengthy behind-the-scenes video.
The exclusive version of the figure will include an extra arm for Spike with his famous "bang" gesture. People who purchase the Day One edition and validate their orders on July 24 will also receive a signature card signed by Alex Davis, an exclusive hologram sticker, and extra First 4 Figures rewards points. The pre-order period for the exclusive edition will close on August 21.
Both versions of the 20.5-inch figure have a detailed base inspired by the Cowboy Bebop anime's style and come with an authentication card. The earliest orders will receive the lowest serial numbers. The figure costs US$349.99.
First 4 Figures revealed several Berserk statues in April that are also slated to ship in 2019.
