You don't need a Master Ball to catch the heart of the one you love. But if you want to give that special someone a worldly symbol of your devotion, K. Uno's character jewelry and accessory brand U-Treasure has just the thing for Pokémon Trainers to represent eternal marriage bonds. U-Treasure began offering a Mew engagement ring on Friday.
The engagement ring features a pink-gold version of the Mythical Pokémon Mew sitting against a diamond. The platinum version of the ring costs 120,000 yen (about US$1,100), and the white gold version costs 110,000 yen (about US$1,000).
Wedding bands featuring only Mew's tail are available in versions for both women and men. The women's ring costs 100,000 yen (about US$920) for platinum and 90,000 yen (about US$830) for white gold, while the men's ring costs 112,000 yen (about US$1,000) for platinum and 105,000 yen (about US$970) for white gold.
U-Treasure is running a special promotion until June 26 that is offering a free Eevee & Friends Jewelry Cloth to anyone who purchases Pokémon jewelry. The brand offers a wide variety of Pokémon jewelry that includes a Pikachu engagement ring and wedding bands, as well as earrings and necklaces featuring even more characters. The company can engrave 61 different kinds of Pokémon inside rings for a fee.
Shōjo anime fans might also opt to mark their engagements with a Sailor Moon ring that debuted last week.
