Japanese television station TV Asahi will air a special concert focused on Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII video game with songs selected by its composer, Nobuo Uematsu. The program will perform six songs exclusively with wind and brass instruments by the Siena Wind Orchestra on May 12. The tracks include "Opening: Bombing Mission," "Cait Sith's Theme," "Interrupted by Fireworks," "Cosmo Canyon," and will close out with the fan-favorite "One Winged Angel."
TV Asahi's Untitled Concert program previously aired its "Game: Final Fantasy Music" orchestral concert in 2016.
Square Enix is currently working on a remake of the Final Fantasy VII PlayStation One game and its slated for release sometime within the next three years. The game was inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame last week.
