The official website for The One Piece franchise revealed on Monday that the "Hello, One Piece" exhibition is heading to Japan for the first time. The exhibition will run at Esta Planis Hall in Sapporo, Hokkaido from April 28 to May 13 and at Akagane Museum in Niihama, Ehime from August 4 to September 2.
The exhibit is part of the 20th anniversary celebration for Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga, and it debuted at Isetan The Japan Store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from August 26 to October 18. Oda provided original illustrations for the exhibition's virtual reality experience. Other parts of the exhibit include a display of scenes divided by five keywords, color illustrations and panels, and a recreation of Oda's desk.
International One Piece exhibitions also ran in South Korea in 2014 and Hong Kong in 2015.
