Megahouse's G.E.M. figure line announced on Friday a new figure to celebrate the Code Geass anime's 10th anniversary. The "G.E.M. Series Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 CLAMP works in Lelouch & Suzaku" figure will feature both the series' protagonist Lelouch and his friend and enemy Suzaku.

Manga creator team CLAMP's illustration inspired the figure's design. The illustration first appeared in the MUTUALITY: CLAMP works in CODE GEASS art book, which Kadokawa released in 2008. In the image, Lelouch and Suzaku stand back-to-back in ceremonial attire, connected by chained ear cuffs.

The Bandai Premium website began accepting pre-orders for the figure for 29,916 yen (about US$270) on Friday. The figure is slated to ship in March.

The G.E.M. figure line released a Zero figure in January and Lelouch vi Britannia figure in June, both for the franchise's 10th anniversary.

CLAMP provided the original character designs for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series that premiered in 2006. The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 sequel premiered in 2008. Both series will get reruns on the BS11 network in Japan starting on October 1.

Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Awakening Path), the first of the planned compilation film trilogy, will open in Japan on October 21. A new trailer and visual for the film debuted last week.
