Megumi Hayashibara, Bump of Chicken, Chocolat Manga Artist Create Nostalgic Cup Noodle Ad

Nissin Foods' Cup Noodles shared an elaborate collaboration with Final Fantasy XV earlier this year. The company is now heading in the complete opposite direction of its humor-based campaign for something nostalgic, youthful, and even romantic with "Hungry Days".
Megumi Hayashibara (Evangelion's Rei Ayanami, Cowboy Bebop's as Faye Valentine) narrates the commercial with striking art by manga artist Eisaku Kubonouchi (Chocolat, Cherry). BUMP OF CHICKEN vocalist Motō Fujiwara can be heard singing in the background.
Little else is known about the collaboration outside of the 30-second commercial that launched on Wednesday.
Cup Noodle has previously enlisted soccer samurai, Girls und Panzer tank rounds, transforming Ultraman, and flavored ice cream to promote their quick meals.
