Ciao Magazine Bundles PriPri Chi-chan!! Automatic Vacuum

The April issue of Shogakukan's Ciao magazine bundled the Pri Chi Osōji Robo CHI-01 autonomous robotic vacuum on Friday. The vacuum inspired by Hiromu Shinozuka's PriPri Chi-chan!! manga, which runs in the magazine, is the first home electronic device to bundle with a magazine in Japan. The YouTube Channel Omocha Daisuki Dōga (Toy Love Videos) began streaming a video previewing the vacuum on Wednesday.
The small robot is advertised as a tool to clean off dusty desks rather than floors of entire rooms. The machine is a steal at the magazine issue's price of 580 yen (about US$5). The issue also bundles Kyoro-chan Easter Happy Message Cards and an Aikatsu Stars! newspaper.
A television anime adaptation of Shinozuka's manga will premiere in April.
