Asuka x Godzilla Crossover Design Has Figure Plans

While the larger-than-life Godzilla booth drew fans at this summer's WonderFest, the staff behind the Evangelion x Godzilla crossover campaign were already dreaming up their next mash-up. Artist Nanakamado Anno drew Second Child Asuka covered in a plugsuit growing Godzilla-like plating and a tail.
The design is currently available on t-shirts, stickers, a pass case, and as an acrylic stand. A figure is also planned.
So far the Hideaki Anno crossover campaign has included an Evangelion Unit-01 plastic model in Burning Godzilla's color scheme from the Godzilla vs. Destoroyah film, the Unit-01-colored Godzilla, artwork drawn by Takashi Murakami (Superflat Monogram, 6HP - Six Hearts Princess), Mahiro Maeda (Gankutsuou, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo), Shinji Nishikawa (Godzilla monster designer), Akira Amemiya (Inferno Cop, Ninja Slayer From Animation), and more.
FUNimation Entertainment announced at Comic Con International that it will release TOHO's Godzilla: Resurgence (Shin Godzilla) film. It plans to release the film in theaters in North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean in late 2016.
