Dance Concerts to Feature Months Anthropomorphized into Handsome Guys
posted on by Eric Stimson
If you've ever wondered what months would look like as people, the answer is obviously as bishōnen in spiffy uniforms. That's the formula Tsukiuta, a music and drama CD series, used when it was launched in 2014, and now it's getting an upgrade to live actors and a dance concert. The characters are divided into two groups, Six Gravity (who wear black) and Procellarum (who wear white), although the project is called Tsukiste ("Month Stage").
Here are the characters and their actors. The family names are all old Japanese words for their respective months:
Kakeru Shiwasu (Ryū Kiyama, December)
Hajime Mutsuki (Kentarō Menjō, January)
Koi Kisaragi (Lui Yokoo, February)
Haru Yayoi (Hiroki Nakada, March)
Arata Uduki (Taiki Yamazaki, April)
Aoi Satsuki (TATSUKI Jōnin, May)
Rui Minaduki (Yūsaku Satō, June)
Kai Fuduki (Kazumi Doi, July)
You Haduki (Shūto Washio, August)
Yoru Nagatsuki (Yoshiki Tani, September)
Iku Kannaduki (Tsubasa Sasa, October)
Shun Shimotsuki (Yūki Tomotsune, November)
Six Gravity
Procellarum
The stage shows will be held between April 23 and May 1 around Tokyo; tickets cost between 5,000 and 9,000 yen ($44-$79) and can be bought at the groups' official site. The above T-shirt comes with the arena seat ticket.
A TV anime based on the project was announced in November 2014.
