posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
A collaboration between the increasingly popular Mr. Osomatsu anime series and the shōjo manga magazine Margaret is in the works. This year's sixth issue of the magazine will include a special crossover when it's released on February 20.
The magazine will bundle a special clear file and include crossover work by Saki Aikawa (Meikyū Romantica), Ayumi Komura (Mixed Vegetables, Usotsuki Lily), Arina Tanemura (Idol Dreams, Full Moon O Sagashite), Miyoshi Tomori & Saro Tekkotsu (A Devil and Her Love Song, Nanoka no Kare), Suu Morishita (Hibi Chōchō), and Mika Yamamori & Yōko Kamio (Tsubaki-chō Lonely Planet, Hana Yori Dango).
Yōko Kamio shared one of her collaborative illustrations depicting Dōmyōji wearing Ichimatsu's sweatshirt.

Margaret magazine might be looking to cash in the recent Mr. Osomatsu windfall. Pash! magazine published a cover with the sextuplets that led to the the publication's highest ever first printing. The January and February issues also included Mr. Osomatsu posters, and their first printings sold out, prompting Shufu-to-Seikatsu Sha to order additional print runs. Tokuma Shoten published the February issue of Monthly Animage magazine with Mr. Osomatsu on the cover on January 10, and when the issue sold out, Tokuma Shoten ordered the first ever additional print run in the magazine's 36-year history.
