In a series of recent tweets, Shōko Nakagawa—known by her stage name, Shokotan—has expressed her enormous excitement for the remake of PlayStation Classic Final Fantasy VII game, originally released back in 1997.
セフィロス様のうつるテレビ画面にキスしてた小学生の頃がついこないだのように感じる、人類の寿命って短い、でも生きてるうちにリメイクが遊べるなんて幸せだなぁたのしみだなぁ

Shokotan is especially excited to experience the villainous Sephiroth in the new remake. This tweet remarks her fond remembrance of kissing Sephiroth on her screen as a child.
The full Tweet says: "I remember kissing Sephiroth on my screen as an elementary school student. To be able to play a remake within my short life makes me so happy! I can't wait!"
The game was announced on June 15 during the Sony conference at E3 2015.
Shokotan is perhaps most well-known for her performance of "Sorairo Days", the opening theme for 2007's Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. She has also performed various covers of anime openings including Sailor Moon's "Moonlight Densetsu" and Yū Yū Hakusho's "Hohoemi no Bakudan."
