posted on by Karen Ressler
Namco Bandai Games Europe began streaming a trailer on Monday for the upcoming HD port Soul Calibur II HD Online, which will be available this fall for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. The trailer features clips from gameplay and the opening sequence, with graphics comparisons to the original game. The new game will feature updated HD graphics and online multiplayer support.
Namco released the original Soul Calibur II game for arcades in 2002, and then released the game for the Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2 in 2003. Namco Bandai Games confirmed that the PS3 version will include Tekken's Heihachi, who appeared in the original PS2 version of the game, but has not mentioned if The Legend of Zelda's Link, or if Todd McFarlane 's Spawn's titular character, who were featured in the Gamecube and Xbox versions respectively, will be returning.
