A FES Anime Song Festival to Debut Next March

The organizers of A Fes, a new anime song festival in Japan, announced on Tuesday that the eight-hour event will debut at the Makuhari Messe event center in Chiba on Saturday, March 24, 2012.
That Saturday is in the same weekend as Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF), which will be held next year at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center on Odaiba island at Tokyo Bay. It is also one weekend before Anime Contents Expo (ACE) also launches next year at the same Makuhari Messe center.
A Fes, TAF, and ACE would have all ran during the same March weekend this year, but were all cancelled within days of the March 11 Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.
