Filmstrip came as limited-edition bonus in Idolm@ster 2 PS3 port
An auction on Yahoo! Japan for a set of two filmstrips from The IDOLM@STER television anime series has sold for 111,500 yen (US$1,473). One of the filmstrips sold (pictured at right) features all 12 idols from the series. The auction had 23 bids and had started at 1,000 yen (US$12.80).
The filmstrips were featured as a bonus for the limited-edition version of the IDOLM@STER 2 game port for the PlayStation 3 that was released in Japan on October 27. Bandai Namco Games sold 65,512 copies of all editions of the game during the week of October 24-30.
The Xbox 360 version of the sequel game originally inspired the television anime series.
