Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Gets 2nd Novel in January

Shueisha revealed on Thursday that Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen manga will have a second novel by Ballad Kitaguni titled Yoake no Ibara Michi (The Path of Roses at Dawn). Shueisha is listing the novel with a January 4 release.
This year's 51st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine also revealed on Monday that the manga's eighth and ninth compiled book volumes will also ship on January 4. The magazine's next issue will also have an important announcement for the manga on November 25.
Kitaguni also wrote the first novel for the manga that debuted on May 1.
Viz Media published the manga's first three chapters in English simultaneously with Japan as part of its Jump Start initiative. When the company then switched to its new Shonen Jump model, it began publishing new chapters of the manga digitally. Viz Media will begin releasing the manga in print this winter. Shueisha is also publishing the manga on its MANGA Plus website, and it describes the manga:

Akutami launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. Shueisha published the manga's seventh volume on October 4.
