Description:
GUNBUSTER is the story of beautiful Mecha pilot Noriko Takaya. She is struggling to continue the legacy of her father (a legendary space Captain who was killed in combat) as a member of the Earth Space Force. Now, she joins her friend and co-pilot Kazumi Amano, her mentor Commander "Coach" Ota, and the crew to defend Earth from an impending alien invasion.

 In Episode Three, as the Exelion and the Earth Fleet prepare to engage the enemy forces, Noriko discovers romance in the form of male pilot Smith Toren. Kazumi and Noriko's relationship becomes strained as Kauzmi loses confidence in Noriko's abilities. Noriko is once again faced with the uncompromising reality of war in her first battle!

 In Episode Four, Noriko tries to cope with the loss of a friend as the final phases of her training are completed and she is given command of the Earth Space Force's top-secret ultimate fighting machine: the monolithic Gunbuster. With an impending alien attack, uncertain feelings, and Earth's survival at stake, Noriko must face her greatest challenge!

 This OVA features character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto, a screenplay by Toshio Okada, and was produced by the innovative Gainax Studio. U.S. Renditions is proud to continue this intriguing science ficiton story!
