In episode 8, 40 seconds before the ending, Nagisa quoted 1 of the strategies from the Thirty-Six Stratagems, quoting "Of the Thirty-Six Stratagems, fleeing is best", though as usual, she got the wordings wrong, which is corrected by Honoka.
In episode 34,roughly at 14:47,a parody of Ali Baba & the 40 Thieves is quoted when Nagisa stated that the prop is from "Awatenbo Shogun vs the 40 Ninjas".
