The film is considered the first pornographic animated feature film distributed in The United States, predating Ralph Bakshi's Fritz the Cat, the first American X-Rated animated film, by three years.
While there is evidence of an English audio track produced for American limited distribution, proven by the uncovering of an original English trailer uploaded to YouTube in 2011, the audio track and cast list have been written off as a lost film.
Said lost English dub was eventually rediscovered by Discotek Media, in which some of the staff members found a 16mm print of the film, with the English dub audio in tact.
