Rurouni Kenshin 27: Burn, Island of Terror
1) Blood spray and bullet wound digitally removed from Shura's thigh when the bullet hits.
2) Blood removed from Shura's thigh when Kenshin scoops her up and escapes.
3) Blood digitally removed from Shura's thigh and bullet wound digitally reduced in all scenes in the cave.
4) Scene of Shura holding a tantou to her throat preparing to commit suicide shortened.
5) Kenshin's "Are you going to commit suicide and abandon him?" to Shura cut.
6) Shura's "Go. I won't try to kill myself" to Kenshin changed to "Go. I won't do anything stupid."
7) Senbonya's "You mean you gave him opium" to Ginjou changed to "You mean you gave him poppies."
8) Ginjou's "Let's eat and drink until we're fat and drunk" changed to "Let's eat and drink until we're fat and happy."

Given the emphasis on anti-drug education it doesn't make sense that Toonami would edit out all references to opium and replace them with poppies. While rare on US streets, opium is better known as a drug than poppies are and opium itself is one step removed from heroin. Since RK shows opium in a very negative light I would have thought it to CN's benefit to have left all opium references intact.
