Rurouni Kenshin - ep. 12 & 13

Rurouni Kenshin, Episode 12: The Birth of a Boy Swordsman
1) Scene of Mikio hitting Tsubame shortened to remove actual impact against her.
2) Scene of thugs beating Yahiko after he falls cut.
3) Mikio's "Kill the punk! Kill him now!" changed to "Get the punk! Get him now!" (Ok, so why the sudden reversal?)
4) Close-up of Mikio slicing Yahiko's shoulder cut.
5) Not an Edit... Blood on Yahiko's shoulder wound left in.
6) Blood spray digitally removed from Yahiko's cheek when Mikio cuts it.
It seems Toonami snipped the once forbidden words from this episode. I am going to give CN the benefit of the doubt and assume this was because Yahiko is a kid and CN doesn't want to show a child in mortal danger during Toonami. Of course the fact that kids have been shown in mortal danger on Toonami before does confuse the issue.
Rurouni Kenshin, Episode 13: Strive for the Grand Championship
1) Japanese text is no longer being subtitled.
2) Tae's "To tell the truth he and his friends get drunk a lot and they can get pretty wild and damage property." changed to "To tell you the truth he and his friends are pretty unruly and they can get wild and damage property."
3) Kaoru's "Well no matter how bad things are don't ever think about killing yourself." changed to "Well no matter how bad things are don't think about jumping off a bridge."
4) Thought balloon of Kenshin, Sanosuke and Yahiko speculating on Kaoru wearing a mawashi digitally removed.
I would have thought this episode safe to air unedited. I'm confused about the deletion of Kenshin and the guys' fantasy about Kaoru. There was nothing to see. In fact Kaoru showed more skin in her bath scene in episode
#1.
Note... A mawashi is the traditional loincloth a sumo wrestler wears during a match.
