Live-Action Alice in Borderland Sequel Series Premieres on Netflix in December 2022

Netflix announced on Wednesday that the second live-action season based on Haro Aso's Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) manga will premiere on the service in December 2022.
Netflix streamed a video for the sequel series on Tuesday.
The new season again stars Kento Yamazaki (live-action Kingdom, Orange, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Your Lie in April) as Ryōhei Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya (live-action Rurouni Kenshin, Orange, Library Wars, Aozora Yell) as Yuzuha Usagi. Shinsuke Satō (live-action Bleach, Kingdom films; Oblivion Island anime film) returns to direct the series.
The first season debuted on Netflix in December 2020 in 190 countries worldwide. It was the most viewed live-action series in Japan in 2020, and it ranked in Netflix's top 10 in 40 countries and territories worldwide. Entertainment news website Variety reported on November 2 that the success of the Squid Game live-action series boosted viewing of the first season of Alice in Borderland.
