Super Robot Wars X Game Launches for Switch, PC on January 10

Japanese gaming news website Famitsu revealed on Tuesday that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the Super Robot Wars X (Super Robot Taisen X) crossover game on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on January 10. More information is available in this week's issue of Kadokawa's Famitsu magazine, which shipped on Thursday. In addition, the "Nama Super Robot Channel" will unveil the latest promotional video for the game on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. JST.
Those who buy first-print copies of the game will receive a special "episode 0" scenario, a "special starter pack" scenario, a "beautiful treasure" scenario, and the ability to use Cybuster and Masaki from Super Robot Wars OG Saga Masōkishin The Lord of Elemental from the beginning of the game. Japan will also get a "premium anime song and sound edition" of the game.
Super Robot Wars X debuted for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan in March 2018. The game then received an English-localized release in Southeast Asia in April 2018. The game features the debut of mecha and characters from Gundam: Reconguista in G, Buddy Complex, Buddy Complex: Into the Skies of Tomorrow, Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water, and Mashin Eiyūden Wataru.
Bandai Namco Entertainment's Super Robot Wars V (Super Robot Taisen V) crossover game launched in Japan for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on Thursday. Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia also released the game for Switch and PC via Steam in English in Southeast Asia on Thursday. The Steam page for the PC version is listing the version as unavailable outside of Japan or Southeast Asia.
