Sword Art Online Arcade: Deep Explorer Arcade Game Reveals Original Character, March 19 Launch

Bandai Namco Amusement announced on Sunday that Sword Art Online Arcade: Deep Explorer, the new arcade game based on Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series, will launch in Japanese arcades on March 19.
In the game's story, within "The Seed" network suddenly a mysterious space appears called "Unknown." Kirito and others dive into Unknown via a game console called ViSTer at an arcade, and go on adventures within Unknown. The game will also feature an original character named Riko (pictured at right, voiced by Nao Tōyama). Riko is a woman who awaits players as they arrive in Unknown.
The game will feature co-op play for up to three players and collectible cards, but players can also play the game solo.
