Scum's Wish Manga Has 1.9 Million Copies in Print

This year's December issue of Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine announced on Saturday that the eight volumes of Mengo Yokoyari's Scum's Wish (Kuzu no Honkai) manga have 1.9 million copies in print.
Yokoyari launched the manga in Big Gangan in 2012, and ended it on March 25. Square Enix published the eighth and final volume on the same day. A spinoff manga titled Kuzu no Honkai décor launched in Saturday's issue.
Crunchyroll published Scum's Wish digitally in English, and Yen Press is publishing the series in print in North America.
The manga inspired both a television anime series and a live-action series, which ran in parallel this past winter. Both series adapted the entire story of the manga.
