Devil May Cry/Dragon's Dogma Director Hideaki Itsuno Plans to Announce New Game This Year

Game director and designer Hideaki Itsuno posted on Twitter on Sunday that he will "exert [himself] in order to announce a new game this year."
Itsuno has directed Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, Devil May Cry 4, Dragon's Dogma, and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Devil May Cry celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2016. The original Devil May Cry video game shipped for PlayStation 2 in 2001. The game series has inspired novels, anime, and manga. Sengoku Basara vs. Devil May Cry, the franchise's first stage play adaptation, debuted at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo in August 2015.
Dragon's Dogma shipped for PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2012, and the Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen expanded and enhanced version shipped for PS3 and Xbox 360 in April 2013. The PC version arrived in January 2016.
