Vertical Adds E-book Rights for Tezuka Catalog

North American publisher Vertical announced on Friday that it has acquired the rights to digitally publish all of its titles by Osamu Tezuka. The company will begin uploading two to three books every two to three weeks to the Apple iBookstore, Kindle, and Nook. Vertical will first upload the out-of-print titles Apollo's Song and Black Jack.

The announced titles are:

• Apollo's Song
• Black Jack
• Dororo
• Princess Knight
• Ode to Kirihito
• MW
• Ayako
• Buddha
• Message to Adolf
• The Twin Knights

Vertical also confirmed that it will simultaneously release Takuma Morishige's My Neighbor Seki digitally and in print.

Vertical plans to release the announced Tezuka manga digitally beginning in December. The company also hopes to upload the titles to Google Play.
