We also decided to hand out a special WTF Were You Thinking? award to Oisin Vink. We're not sure what he was thinking when he just decided to send in a picture of his eye, so we're giving him a Doggie Poo for his efforts.

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Be honest because — unlike Santa — ANN and CPM will be rewarding both. Anime News Network and Central Park Media want visitors to illustrate the moment they've either been naughtiest or nicest in 2005 with a little help from Photoshop. We're looking for a Photoshopped image of you being naughty or nice. Are there any rules beyond that? Keep it clean and keep it tasteful (PG-13!!!); otherwise we're intentially being vague because we want you to crack open Photoshop and let your creativity shine.

The contest's from December 3 to December 20, after which ANN will be posting all the entries for visitors to vote for their favorites, with the winners announced and prizes sent out on (or around) December 30. Be careful though, we'll be looking out for ballot stuffing, so if we see anyone doing that, we'll chuck out all your votes.

Send all your entries to santa[at]animenewsnetwork[dot]com and attach your pictures. All pictures must be either JPG, GIF, PNG or BMP. Please don't send us PSDs, etc. Please mark in the file name whether the picture is naughty or nice. All submissions are due 11:59PM EST (GMT -5:00) December 20. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Random rules, guidelines, etc:
Seriously, keep it clean. We won't tolerate anything pornographic, so keep things PG-13. No nudity, period. Don't try to go around the rules by photoshopping fruit in front of body parts, etc. If the winner chosen for the naughty prize would prefer to get the Super Naughty Grand Prize, they must be able to prove their age. The contest is open to everyone, but the prizes will only be shipped to US and Canadian addresses. If you elect to choose the Super Naughty prize, please make sure that you are of legal age in your place of residency to receive it.

So, boot up your Photoshop, pull out your digital camera, and start forging photographs of yourself stealing candy from babies or ushering in world peace!

The Fine Print: Anime News Network reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time (unlikely to happen). Contest is open to any and all residents of the planet Earth and neighbour parallel dimensions, but prizes will only be shipped within the continental United States and Canada (So if you win, but you live in Antarctica, you have to arrange to have it sent to someone living in the appropriate area, and they can send it to you.) Contestant names, e-mail and mailing addresses will not be given out to any one and will be erased when the winners have been confirmed. Non-winners will not be contacted, spammed or harassed in any way. We reserve the right to retroactively add new rules when and how we see fit.
