His drawings of Miku and Madoka are fantastic! It's surprising how a limited set of colored pencils can produce artwork that looked as if it was made with a higher-budget art set.

Whoa. It's almost like you can make any color by mixing the three primary colors...
Good art, nonetheless. I guess maybe a lot of people these days don't have art classes, so they don't know about basic concepts like color mixing. |

As a non-artist, I can attest that you can also learn about basic concepts like color mixing from a science textbook. Or... Sesame Street. |

The point is, people have this mistaken notion that having fancy digital tools will make their art better even though it's the skill that makes difference.
