Izumi Kitta is a huge wrestling fan, and IIRC Togi Makabe is one of her favorite wrestlers. Here is she and Suzuko Mimori talking about the January 4 Tokyo Dome show. Also worth noting that Bushiroad is the owner of both Milky Holmes and New Japan Pro Wrestling, so there's been some crossover between them, like the shirts they wear in that video.

Curiously enough, he voiced Rictus Erectus in the Japanese dub of Mad Max Fury Road.

That guy looks more American than Japanese to me.

Per his Wiki article, some info on his possibly controversial wrestling style:

Known as the "Unchained Gorilla", Makabe is known for his violent, bloody style, often illegally employing steel chairs and chains into his offense, including a lariat with a chain wrapped around his arm (like Brody).
